We provide entrepreneurial training, resources and access to clean water to help genuine and struggling women and young people achieve financial independence that can help improve their livelihood.

Bringing Water, Restoring Hope

This initiative aims to provide sustainable access to clean water for women in rural communities, enabling them to enhance their livestock management, agricultural productivity, and entrepreneurial activities. By addressing the need for clean water, we aim to improve health outcomes and create economic opportunities for women in Kenya.

Your donation not only reduces the spread of diseases and promotes good hygiene but also drives economic development by enabling villagers to use the same clean water facilities to help with their livestock, agriculture and other entrepreneurial venture.

Women’s venture

We run weekly workshops to help struggling women, including young boys and girls between the age of 18-25 to achieve the skills required to set-up their business. Some examples are:

  • Fashion & Textile
  • Salon/ Cosmetic
  • Agriculture/ Farming

Book your four week sessions of 30 minutes each to enhance your entrepreneurial skills. Prior to this, you will have a 15 minute free session. We will discuss your needs, helping us to understand how we can help you, and whether these sessions will be right for you. During the four week sessions, you will learn from how you can set-up a small business to finding new strategies to run a successful business. We will guide you step-by-step through the process during our four week sessions, enabling you to succesfully run a business from home. Invest in sustainable futures

We provide grants to those struggling and aspiring to become entrepreneurs in England and Kenya. A funding of upto £500 can only be spend towards resources, expanding business, or equipment’s such as sewing machine, seeds, catering supplies, training, etc. Preference will be giving to applicants from a disadvanatged background, struggling to make there ends meet.  

Please apply, if your business plan alligns with one of the SDGs. If you don’t hear from us, please assume you have not been shortlisted.

One day, he took a ‘panga’ African sword and tried to kill me. While defending myself with my hand, one of my hands got cut off. I experienced an unbearable pain and shock.

The police came and put my husband in jail. Not long after, he became sick and died. I was taken to the hospital and was told by the doctor there was no hope to get my hand back.

My name is Abubakar Omar and I need your help in expanding my business. 

I used to be a full-time driver but I had to quit my job to look after my wife and son. My wife is diabetic and had to get her legs amputated due to a risk of infection being spread to the bones. I also have a 25-year-old son, who is fully paralysed and needs 24/7 care as he can’t go anywhere on his own. 

Since then, I try to make a living while looking after my family by selling mabuyu, cashewnuts, and prawns as a side husstle. 

I need your help to expand my business. This includes, store rentals for the first month and buy clothes, shoes and food items for sale so that I can earn enough money to provide pampers for my disabled son and have a caretaker for my wife and son who can look after them while I am at work.

I lived in a small house with my husband and in-laws. My husband drove the ‘tuktuk’ around Mombasa for a living but the money he earned wasn’t enough to pay for school fees and rent. Last month, my husband died with a stroke and I am on my ‘Idda period’. Once, the four months and ten days of ‘idda period’ are over, I will have to find a home where I could stay with my 4 year old son, 12 year old daughter and 16 year old son. 

I want to start a cosmetic business but I do not know how. I have reached out to Humanity Response and they have decided to help me pay the funds to become fully trained to run a cosmetic business and invest in buying cosmetic products so that I could afford to rent a home and pay the school fees for my children.
